I believe in Jesus Christ, that He was in heaven long before He appeared in human form as the Baby Jesus.
I believe we were each created by God and for God. We are to worship Him and have fellowship with Him.
I believe sin separated me from God because sin disgusts Him. He can't bear to even look at it let alone me in the midst of sin.
Jesus became, through his perfect sacrifice (sinless), my bridge to God and heaven. God sees me through Jesus, crediting to me Jesus' crucifixion. His punishment - the killing of the spotless lamb - was acceptable to God. Jesus died in my place for my sins.
Because He rose to new life on the third day, I can too through my relationship with Him. I don't merely ride His coattails. I am united with Him. He is my advocate before God on the throne. I stand my my faith in Jesus.
I believe I will be judged when I die - as a follower of Jesus. Sin is a part of my life, but it doesn't have control over me. I'm not indebted to the law of the Old Testament. I am FREE! Jesus has freed me from the penalty associated with sin.
I have a new life in Him. He is my Lord and Savior. My faith in Jesus is real.
