As I read through pages of the book, I felt as though I were sitting in a coffee shop across from the author, Michael Murray. Michael engages his readers in a kind of conversation about things that truly matter - heaven, hell, eternity, sin, salvation, God.
Michael's humility, warmth, thoughfulness, research and authenticity effectively encourage thinking. I'm glad he's invited us to join him on his spiritual journey toward Jesus.

Getting to heaven seems easy. Repent for your sins (meaning turn away from them), recognize Jesus as your Savior and ask Him to come into your life.
Unfortunately, we really don't want to do any of those things because we haven't owned up to our sin, don't believe in a real Jesus and aren't about to deny our self-orientation for someone we don't know.
The encouraging news (not quite the Good News) is that God is pretty creative and patient. He finds many ways to get our attention.
